Recipe: Low-Sugar DIY Chocolate Bars

Who doesn’t love a good old-fashioned chocolate bar? The snap, the creaminess, the rich, comforting flavor — it’s a classic for a reason. And good news: making your own is easier than you think.

DIY chocolate bars are endlessly customizable and perfect for party favors, heartfelt gifts or simply treating yourself to a little indulgence. Even better, our chocolate is sweetened with sweet proteins, delivering the flavor you love without the sugar crash.

Just melt, mix in your favorite add-ins, and let it set — and voilà! A flavorful, feel-good treat made just the way you like it.

Here are a few of our favorite combos to get you inspired:

Berry Chocolate Bar:

  • 1 Oobli Cocoa Dreams Bar

  • 1 tsp olive or coconut oil

  • Freeze-dried berries

  • Flaky sea salt

Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar:

  • 1 Oobli Let’s Go Nuts Bar

  • 1 tsp olive or coconut oil

  • Peanut butter

  • Crushed peanuts

  • Flaky sea salt

Fruit & Nut Chocolate Bar:

  • 1 Oobli Cocoa Dreams Bar

  • 1 tsp olive or coconut oil

  • Your favorite dried fruit

  • Crushed walnuts

  • Flaky sea salt

Directions:

  1. Break your Oobli chocolate bar into pieces and place in a microwave safe bowl with the olive or coconut oil. Microwave in 30 second intervals, mixing in between, until completely melted.

  2. Pour the melted chocolate into a chocolate bar mold and add your topping of choice (see above).

  3. Place the chocolate mold in the fridge for about 30 minutes until the chocolate has set. Enjoy!
