Chocolate-Dunked PB Date Candy Apples

Some combinations are timeless for a reason. Peanut butter and chocolate. Apples and peanut butter. Dates and… anything. Now imagine all of them layered into one cold, crunchy, fudgy bite that tastes like it came from a candy counter, not your own kitchen.

These mini “candy apples” start with dates (nature’s caramel), get filled with creamy peanut butter, hugged with a crisp apple slice, then dunked into melted Oobli chocolate. They chill into a snappy, bite-sized treat that delivers dessert-level indulgence without the sugar bomb. A reminder that with the right ingredients, you can have decadent without overdoing it. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 apple, sliced into 8 wedges

  • 8 dates, pitted

  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter (approx.)

  • 1 bar Oobli chocolate, melted

Directions:

  1. Slice the apple into 8 even wedges.

  2. Pit each date and gently open it like a little pocket.

  3. Spread peanut butter inside each pitted date.

  4. Press an apple slice into the center of each PB-filled date.

  5. Melt Oobli chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20–30 second intervals, stirring until smooth.

  6. Insert a toothpick into each candy apple bite and dunk into the melted chocolate.

  7. Place on parchment and chill in the fridge for about 10 minutes before serving.
